Hi, I’m Amanda Sini.

I’m an experienced midwife, seasoned mom of 3, and a passionate educator. For over a decade, I’ve been a full scope midwife, providing prenatal care, witnessing the miracle of birth time and time again, caring for women in the postpartum period, and providing gynecological care. At The Village Midwife, PLLC, my clinical practice focuses on helping women find balance and optimal wellness through the integration of education, lifestyle modifications, supplements, botanicals, natural remedies, and medication. It is my true passion to partner with my clients to help them achieve better health and to provide holistic gynecology care to women throughout their lifespan, from adolescence through postmenopause.

My education and experience began at Cornell University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development. I taught elementary school for two years while obtaining a Master’s degree in education at St. John’s University. It was during my time as a teacher that I realized I wanted to become a midwife. That lead me to attend NYU, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. I then worked as a Women’s Health Nurse, circulating between Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, and the Newborn Nursery at New York Presbyterian/Weil Cornell Medical Center. During my time as nurse, I attended SUNY Downstate, where I received a Master’s degree in Midwifery. Since graduating in 2010, I have worked as a full scope midwife at Jamaica Hospital, Stony Brook University Medical Center, and was the cofounder of Gaia Midwives, where I focused on homebirth. And that leads me to today…I am the happy owner of The Village Midwife, a space for integrative healthcare for women! My practice focuses on women’s wellness and holistic gynecology. The office is warm and inviting, and I provide personalized and compassionate holistic gynecology to women of all ages from adolescence to postmenopause.

I’m am so grateful to be practicing in Babylon Village, as it is my hometown. I live right down the street with my amazing husband and three amazing children. Together, we love to enjoy the outdoors, frequenting our beautiful beaches and nature trails, eat good food, exercise, play games, ski, and watch movies. Raising our family in Babylon Village is such a privilege, as our community offers so much, and it is truly an honor to be able to serve the women of Babylon and the surrounding communities.
